neodvisni film

AVTORJI

Režiser Miha Mohorič

He is passionate travel writer and filmmaker who is documenting people’s ways of life and their culture in his films. As a multimedia engineer trained at the Institute and Academy of Multimedia, Ljubljana 2006, his interest in the profession improves at the Middlesex University, London, where in 2009 he graduated from the Media Production Management. The interest for the reasons that are shaping the civilisation and individual lives and their interactions, led to the study of cultural diversity and transnational processes in the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where in 2015 obtained a degree of the European Joint Master in Social and Cultural Anthropology. Today, he faces themes of his interest from wider perspective and is recognising in them the stratified complexity in a medium of film, which he is uncovering to wider audience. His main focus is socio-cultural thematic, specially the one which is in our society hidden or ignored. He is capturing censured everyday lives and unspoken stories from “ordinary people” through the camera lens and transform them into the film with the focus on the people themselves.
